Not confined to the editing bay, Stephanie is a multifaceted creative force. She served as a writer, producer, and editor on “BORN FREE,” an independent birth documentary that showcased her diverse skill set. Stepping into the director’s chair, Stephanie wrote, produced, and edited her debut short film, “ELSEWHERE LOVE,” which premiered at the Guadalajara Film Festival and continues to captivate audiences on the festival circuit. A tender love letter to oneself, the short film is an abstract poetic piece that explores the theme of rebirth from heartbreak.

Stephanie Zenee Perez holds a Master of Fine Arts with a specialization in Editing from the American Film Institute Conservatory, complemented by a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
